Beautiful earthy shades, amazing little containers of nutrients.
It's still a quiet joy to collect these gifts from my gals each day.
(Especially now that they are all laying again!)
While they're busy with their daily laying service, downstairs I'm incubating a few of their babies.
Another amazing experience: turning the eggs several times each day, feeling their internal weights increase. Candling them at night with the girls excitedly learning about the different stages of development.
It's Biology at its finest.
We can't wait to see how the babies turn out!
